Mary Rahlin, PT, DHS, PCS, is assistant program director and associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy and Education Section, and a member of the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine. Dr. Rahlin has practiced pediatric physical therapy for over 25 years in a variety of settings. She is certified in Perception-Action Approach intervention, and her clinical focus is on children with developmental movement disorders and disabilities. In addition, Dr. Rahlin is involved in clinical research and has published in several professional journals. She is the author of the Therapy Behavior Scale (Infant Behavior and Development, 2012) and a textbook titled Physical Therapy for Children with Cerebral Palsy: An Evidence-Based Approach (SLACK Incorporated, 2016).
