Herena Sim Record, M.D. attended UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School on merit scholarship and graduated in 1994 having been elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Rhode Island Hospital-Brown University School of Medicine in 1997. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and before joining RFU Health Clinics was in private practice for nearly two decades in Rhode Island and New Jersey. Her practice included caring for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with an emphasis on women’s health. Dr. Record has had substantial experience in the practice of preventive medicine and in caring for patients with chronic illnesses. She is currently Medical Director of the Physician Assistant program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Sciences and is active in teaching and advising students as well as assessment and curricular development.
