Graduate students often have unique healthcare needs. Not only can graduate school be stressful, but your schedule may be unconventional and it’s likely you’ll have particular requirements tied to your clinical rotations.
At the RFU Health Clinics, we’re committed to caring for all of your health needs as you pursue a degree to help care for others. We’re a multi-specialty healthcare practice offering a variety of medical and mental health services, including urgent care walk-in hours from noon until 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
During your time at RFU, the Health Clinics - located at our North Chicago clinic adjacent to campus - are available to provide you with:
- Counseling services (through Student Counseling Services, geared toward the specific needs of graduate students and their stress points). Our counseling providers are not faculty members and have no academic responsibilities at RFU. Visits to the Student Counseling Service are kept as a health record and are not part of your academic record. Counseling services are free for all currently enrolled RFU students.
- Respiratory mask fitting, as needed for clinical rotations
Students can learn more from the Student Medical Services page on InSite, the intranet of RFUMS.
We also offer:
- Physical exams
- Preventive health
- Women's health exams
- Lab services
- Coordination of immunization requirements for on-campus students and those in clinical rotations.
