Experience

Dr. Richardson is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine. Additionally, she is Board Qualified in Forefoot Surgery as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. She was one of the first in the US to be fully trained in peripheral nerve surgery throughout the entirety of her residency training; techniques that approximately 1% of podiatric surgeons have advanced training in through the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons. Upon residency completion, she enjoyed a busy clinical and surgical practice at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in rural Rockford, IL prior to returning to the Chicago area and joining Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.

Practice Interests

Dr. Richardson is accepting new patients of all ages and treats all foot and ankle abnormalities, including but not limited to: arthritis, Charcot neuroarthropathy, flat foot, fractures of the foot and ankle, hammertoes, limb salvage, nerve pain & neuropathies, neuromas, plantar fasciitis, and wounds. She has a passion for all pathology of the lower extremity, especially microneurosurgical techniques as well as wound care & limb salvage. Outside of podiatry, special interests of Dr. Richardson include traveling and spoiling her two toy poodles.
